ITV bosses have revealed that they’ve received 1900 complaints after Alesha Dixon appeared on Britain’s Got Talent sporting brown skin.
One complainant, a Mr Duncan-Smith-But-Please-Don’t-Print-My-Name described Ms Dixon’s brown face as ‘disrespectful to white people, particularly in a year when so many of us…err…I mean them have been unable to travel abroad and get a tan of their own.’
He said white people have ‘endured years of pastiness’ with many carrying the ‘heavy burden’ of achieving bugger all despite their white privilege.
Another complaint from a Mr Mees-Rogg said the ‘sight of an actual brown-faced person’ had terrified half of his children but did say that all eight of them had been ‘cheerily flabbergasted’ that she was able to speak ‘perfectly adequate English.’
OfCom have confirmed that they are investigating a ‘series of complaints’ from people whose Facebook profile pictures contain a Union Jack and whose newsfeeds are full of racist bullshit of varying degrees from mildly ignorant to full on not-allowed-in-Poland-in-case-they-try-to-annexe-it.
A statement from ITV said they are committed to equality with the show’s producers pointing to the fact that they once allowed failed journalist and all-round moron Piers Morgan to feature as a judge.
